Hi, I have the HP Victus 15-fb1013dx, bought with 8GB RAM pre-installed. What are my upgrade options? Can I have 32GB total?
The manual of the laptop states it supports up to 16GB, but this is probably info based on their configuration offers that are sold. The included AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS CPU supports up to 64GB with 2x32GB modules. So, I would definitely tell 32GB like 2x16GB is possible, or even maybe a single 32GB (I'm not sure about that although it's possible based on the CPU and dual-channel RAM is always better). Here's RAM info on the page 7 of the manual: https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_6019410_en-US-1.pdf
Sellers do offer 32GB RAM sticks for the HP Victus 15-1000 series, so yes 32 and 64 Gigabytes are possible.
